Coors Brewers Ltd formerly Bass Brewers Ltd in Alton Hampshire invites you to visit a town steeped in history to see a traditional process taking place in a modern day brewery.

The brewery was built in the early 1960's it was the first brewery to be built on a new site in England since the Guinness Park Royal brewery which was built in the 1930's.

The first brew produced at the new brewery in Alton was at the end of 1962.

The site at Alton was once short-listed as one of the finest industrial buildings in the country. It is on what was the old Manor House parkland near Ashdell and to this day is still a very attractive setting.
